Prompt and non-prompt J$/\psi$ production at midrapidity in Pb–Pb collisions at $ \sqrt{s_{\textrm{NN}}} $ = 5.02 TeV
[CERN-EP-2023-190; arXiv:2308.16125]
The transverse momentum (p$_{T}$) and centrality dependence of the nuclear modification factor R$_{AA}$ of prompt and non-prompt J/ψ, the latter originating from the weak decays of beauty hadrons, have been measured by the ALICE collaboration in Pb–Pb collisions at $ \sqrt{s_{\textrm{NN}}} $ = 5.02 TeV. The measurements are carried out through the e$^{+}$e$^{−}$ decay channel at midrapidity (|y| < 0.9) in the transverse momentum region 1.5 < p$_{T}$ < 10 GeV/c. [...]

Multiplicity and event-scale dependent flow and jet fragmentation in pp collisions at $ \sqrt{s} $ = 13 TeV and in p–Pb collisions at $ \sqrt{s_{\textrm{NN}}} $ = 5.02 TeV
[CERN-EP-2023-195; arXiv:2308.16591]
Long- and short-range correlations for pairs of charged particles are studied via two-particle angular correlations in pp collisions at $ \sqrt{s} $ = 13 TeV and p–Pb collisions at $ \sqrt{s_{\textrm{NN}}} $ = 5.02 TeV. The correlation functions are measured as a function of relative azimuthal angle ∆φ and pseudorapidity separation ∆η for pairs of primary charged particles within the pseudorapidity interval |η| < 0.9 and the transverse-momentum interval 1 < p$_{T}$< 4 GeV/c. Measurement of $\Omega_c^0$ baryon production and branching-fraction ratio BR($\Omega_c^0$→$\Omega^-$e$^+$ν$_e$)/BR($\Omega_c^0$→$\Omega^-$$\pi^+$) in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV
[CERN-EP-2024-112; arXiv:2404.17272]
The inclusive production of the charm-strange baryon $\Omega_c^0$ is measured for the first time via its semileptonic decay into $\Omega^-$e$^+$ν$_e$ at midrapidity (|y|<0.8) in proton-proton (pp) collisions at the center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The transverse momentum (p$_T$) differential cross section multiplied by the branching ratio is presented in the interval 2 < p$_T$ < 12 GeV/c. [...]

Measurement of inclusive charged-particle jet production in pp and p-Pb collisions at $ \sqrt{s_{\textrm{NN}}} $ = 5.02 TeV
[CERN-EP-2023-131; arXiv:2307.10860]
Measurements of inclusive charged-particle jet production in pp and p-Pb collisions at center-of-mass energy per nucleon-nucleon collision $ \sqrt{s_{\textrm{NN}}} $ = 5.02 TeV and the corresponding nuclear modification factor $ {R}_{\textrm{pPb}}^{\textrm{ch}\ \textrm{jet}} $ are presented, using data collected with the ALICE detector at the LHC. Jets are reconstructed in the central rapidity region |η$_{jet}$| < 0.5 from charged particles using the anti-k$_{T}$ algorithm with resolution parameters R = 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4. [...]

Light-flavor particle production in high-multiplicity pp collisions at $ \sqrt{\textrm{s}} $= 13 TeV as a function of transverse spherocity
[CERN-EP-2023-215; arXiv:2310.10236]
Results on the transverse spherocity dependence of light-flavor particle production (π, K, p, ϕ, K$^{*0}$, $ {\textrm{K}}_{\textrm{S}}^0 $, Λ, Ξ) at midrapidity in high-multiplicity pp collisions at $ \sqrt{s} $ = 13 TeV were obtained with the ALICE apparatus. The transverse spherocity estimator $ \left({S}_{\textrm{O}}^{p_{\textrm{T}}=1}\right) $ categorizes events by their azimuthal topology. [...]

The ALICE experiment: a journey through QCD
[CERN-EP-2022-227; arXiv:2211.04384]
The ALICE experiment was proposed in 1993, to study strongly-interacting matter at extreme energy densities and temperatures. This proposal entailed a comprehensive investigation of nuclear collisions at the LHC. [...]

Search for jet quenching effects in high-multiplicity pp collisions at $ \sqrt{s} $ = 13 TeV via di-jet acoplanarity
[CERN-EP-2023-180; arXiv:2309.03788]
The ALICE Collaboration reports a search for jet quenching effects in high-multiplicity (HM) proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s} $ = 13 TeV, using the semi-inclusive azimuthal-difference distribution ∆φ of charged-particle jets recoiling from a high transverse momentum (high-p$_{T,trig}$) trigger hadron. Jet quenching may broaden the ∆φ distribution measured in HM events compared to that in minimum bias (MB) events. [...]

Studying strangeness and baryon production mechanisms through angular correlations between charged Ξ baryons and identified hadrons in pp collisions at $ \sqrt{s} $ = 13 TeV
[CERN-EP-2023-198; arXiv:2308.16706]
The angular correlations between charged Ξ baryons and associated identified hadrons (pions, kaons, protons, Λ baryons, and Ξ baryons) are measured in pp collisions at $ \sqrt{s} $ = 13 TeV with the ALICE detector to give insight into the particle production mechanisms and balancing of quantum numbers on the microscopic level. In particular, the distribution of strangeness is investigated in the correlations between the doubly-strange Ξ baryon and mesons and baryons that contain a single strange quark, K and Λ. [...]

Multiplicity-dependent production of Σ(1385)$^{±}$ and Ξ(1530)$^{0}$ in pp collisions at $ \sqrt{s} $ = 13 TeV
[CERN-EP-2023-172; arXiv:2308.16116]
The production yields of the Σ(1385)$^{±}$ and Ξ(1530)$^{0}$ resonances are measured in pp collisions at $ \sqrt{s} $ = 13 TeV with ALICE. The measurements are performed as a function of the charged-particle multiplicity ⟨dN$_{ch}$/dη⟩, which is related to the energy density produced in the collision. [...]

Measurements of Chemical Potentials in Pb-Pb Collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV
[CERN-EP-2023-268; arXiv:2311.13332]
This Letter presents the most precise measurement to date of the matter-antimatter imbalance at midrapidity in Pb-Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV. Using the Statistical Hadronization framework, it is possible to obtain the value of the electric charge and baryon chemical potentials, μ$_Q$ = -0.18±0.90 MeV and μ$_B$ = 0.71±0.45 MeV, with unprecedented precision.
