This report discusses the absence of structure resonances for heavy-ion operation in SIS100 in the tune quadrant foreseen for the fast extraction mode, 18.5 < Qx,y < 19 . Simulations of beam losses for the duration of the SIS100 accumulation plateau at nominal transverse space charge conditions with a maximum tune shift of ∆Qy = -0.3 supplement the discussion. |
