Note: Apart from the direct scientific cooperation between the various projects of the Research Unit its collaborative character relies also on jointly operated infrastructure and programs for internal and external communication. The latter requires funding for short and long-time visitors, internal retreats, one fall school, and one international workshop. Other responsibilities of the central coordination project concern gender equality measures, public outreach, structured PhD training, and administrative support.
