This grant covers the resources required to appoint the Director for an initial two-year period - including overhead costs - as well as travel and external event engagements. It also contains a contribution towards conceptualization, development, and execution of the planned Annual Innovation Summit under the Urban Transitions Mission: a gathering of clean energy and net-zero leaders across national governments (and the European Commission), cities and local governments, businesses, academia, and civil society.
