000343498 680__ $$aTextile Change is a Danish start-up company developing a promising and patent pending chemical recycling technology for fiber-to-fiber recycling of textile waste. The technology can be used for blended textiles including any combination of polyester, natural fibers (cotton, hemp etc.) and regenerated cellulose fibers (viscose, lyocell, etc.).

The new EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles tackles aims to ensure that by 2030 textile products placed on the EU market are made as much as possible of recycled fibers, but to reach this goal scalable recycling solutions for fiber-to-fiber recycling is needed. At Textile Change we are developing a scalable solution that can support the EU strategy and ensure fiber-to-fiber recycling for blended textiles.

Two of three founders of Textile Change are women, and our focus in the WomenTech programme will be on market validation and product optimization.
