Note: In order to gain information about the most important happening in a persons life, women have been turning to the at-home pregnancy test for decades. The problem is that available tests are either expensive per use or poor in quality, aside from being single-use only. This ultimately leads to many needs being unmet. We at Pharmista Technologies intend to combat these needs by developing the world’s first reusable pregnancy test placing high focus on accuracy, hygiene and user-friendliness. This in turn will increase convenience-levels, reduce our customer's spendings on their reproductive health, minimise the risk of miss-interpreting the results, and lastly, reduce the consumption of hazardous, single-use plastic products. If our MVP works according to plan, we seek to employ the methodology onto other diagnostic areas where reusability would be advantageous. Therefore, our innovation has a great potential to disrupt not only the pregnancy testing market, but the immunoassay market in whole.
