%X This beam time application submitted in June 2022 is a continuation request by the CBM Collaboration to the General Program Advisory Committee (G-PAC) of GSI/FAIR, following the proposals which were granted in 2017 [4] and 2020 [5] within the FAIR phase-0 program of GSI / FAIR. The primary aim of mCBM@SIS18 (short “mCBM”) is to commission and optimize the complex interplay of the different detector systems with the triggerless-streaming data acquisition and the fast online event reconstruction and selection under realistic experiment conditions up to the top CBM interaction rate of 10 MHz. To validate the read-out and data processing concept of CBM the Λ production yield in Au + Au and Ni + Ni collisions at top SIS18 energies are measured with mCBM as a benchmark observable, which will allow comparison with published data by the FOPI and HADES experiment.
