680 _ _ |a The EU-funded SYNERGIES project addresses the critical challenge of ensuring the safety of cooperative, connected, and automated mobility (CCAM) systems by acknowledging the vast number of driving situations these systems must be tested and validated against. The project seeks to establish a European Federated Platform, consisting of a Scenario Dataspace and a Tools Marketplace. The platform will be designed to improve safety, reduce development time and costs, increase reliability, and support wider adoption of CCAM technologies. SYNERGIES' main objectives include delivering accessible scenarios through a federated Scenario Dataspace, maximising scenario usability and coverage, enabling the use of diverse data sources for scenario generation, achieving acceptance and upscaling of the solution, and establishing a solid AI foundation for CCAM.
