Evidence of a resonant structure in the $e^+e^-\to \pi^+D^0D^{*-}$ cross section between 4.05 and 4.60 GeV

First observations of h$_c$ → hadrons
Based on (4.48±0.03)×108  ψ(3686) events, collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring, five hc hadronic decays are searched for via the process ψ(3686)→π0hc. Three of them, hc→p¯pπ+π−, π+π−π0, and 2(π+π−)π0, are observed for the first time with significances of 7.4σ, 4.6σ, and 9.1σ, and their branching fractions are determined to be (2.89±0.32±0.55)×10−3, (1.60±0.40±0.32)×10−3, and (7.44±0.94±1.52)×10−3, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. Precision resonance energy scans with the PANDA experiment at FAIR
This paper summarises a comprehensive Monte Carlo simulation study for precision resonance energy scan measurements. Apart from the proof of principle for natural width and line shape measurements of very narrow resonances with PANDA, the achievable sensitivities are quantified for the concrete example of the charmonium-like X(3872) state discussed to be exotic, and for a larger parameter space of various assumed signal cross-sections, input widths and luminosity combinations. Prompt photon production and photon-jet correlations at the LHCi

Next-to-leading order predictions matched to parton showers are compared with recent ATLAS data on isolated photon production and CMS data on associated photon and jet production in pp and pPb collisions at different centre-of-mass energies of the LHC. Elliptic flow of electrons from beauty-hadron decays extracted from Pb--Pb collision data at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV

We present a calculation of the elliptic flow of electrons from beauty-hadron decays in semi-central Pb–Pb collisions at centre-of-mass energy per colliding nucleon pair, represented as $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}$ , of 2.76 TeV. The result is obtained by the subtraction of the charm-quark contribution in the elliptic flow of electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays in semi-central Pb–Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}} = 2.76\ \hbox {TeV}$ recently made publicly available by the ALICE collaboration..
